Atlantic Pacific Foods (APF) is a privately owned manufacturer of margarine spreads and vegetable oils for the retail, food service and industrial markets. APF has been a Logo Rights Sponsor since November 2004, providing support through a percentage contribution per tub of Harvest Award and Seachange margarine spreads and also by contributing 50c per 20 litre drum of Harvest Award Cooking Oil sold to the food service sector. APF has made a significant contribution to the Service and hopes to contribute more through increased sales of its products.
The Australian Workers Union (AWU) is Australia's oldest general union and a federation of state, regional and industry-based branches. It represents more than 130,000 members across Australia in a diverse range of industries. The AWU was formed in 1886 as the Amalgamated Shearers Union and quickly grew to represent shearers across NSW, Victoria and South Australia. The Queensland Shearers Union formed in 1887. Today the AWU includes workers from hairdressers to rabbit trappers. Some of the major industries in which AWU members work include pastoral and agricultural, aluminium, aviation, oil and gas, mining, construction and steel. The AWU introduced their members to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Payroll Deduction Scheme.

Its 2,600 employees work with the Australian Defence Force and industry to ensure defence has the capabilities it needs, when needed. BAE Systems Australia combines key skills in battlespace communications, electronic warfare, military air support, air defence, intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance, mission support systems and network enabled capabilities to lead defence technology development and support. BAE Systems has been a Logo Rights Sponsor for the New England-North West Service since 2005. The New England-North West BK-117 is located at BAE's Base at Tamworth Airport.
Baiada Poultry Pty Limited is a privately owned Australian company which provides premium quality poultry products throughout Business operations include Broiler & Breeder Farms, Hatcheries, Processing Plants, Feedmilling and Protein Recovery. Products include sales of live poultry including breeding stock, poultry feed, fertile eggs, day old chickens, primary processed chicken (raw) and further processed chicken products and pet food. Baiada became a Logo Rights Sponsor of the New England-North West Service in May 2007.
Caltex Australia Limited is the largest refiner and marketer of petroleum products in Australia with operations in all states and territories. Caltex provides fuel to commercial and industrial customers in the mining, industrial, agricultural, aviation and other transport sectors as well as to the public. In 1993 Caltex became a Logo Rights Sponsor by financing a jet fuel installation at the Broadmeadow Base. Caltex also supplies discounted aviation and vehicle fuel for the Service.
Coal & Allied is the largest producer of coal in the Hunter Valley region with around 30 million tonnes a year and the company employs approximately 1,500 people across three operations. It is a major shareholder of Port Waratah Coal Services. The company was formed in 1960 by the amalgamation of J & A Brown, Abermain Seaham Collieries Ltd and Caledonian Collieries Ltd. A Logo Rights Sponsor since October 2000, Coal & Allied’s contract with the Service is an annual donation. Coal & Allied employees also contribute through the Service's Payroll Deduction Scheme.
EnergyAustralia is one of the largest energy suppliers in Australia with 100 years experience. The company is a leader in providing broad-based energy solutions ranging from electricity and gas supply to energy management and renewable energy alternatives. The company operates an electricity network of around 22,275 square kilometres – distributing electricity to the Sydney, Central Coast and Hunter regions. The company is proud to provide a safe and reliable supply of electricity to over 1.5 million homes and businesses. A Logo Rights Sponsor since July 1998, EnergyAustralia’s contract with the Service is an annual donation. EnergyAustralia employees also contribute through the Service's Payroll Deduction Scheme.
IGA (Independent Grocers Alliance) was founded in IGA became a Logo Rights Sponsor of the New England-North West Service in May 2007.
Joblink Plus Limited is a not-for-profit organisation with a public benevolent institution status. It provides employment services, support and training to the community with a particular focus on disadvantaged groups. Joblink Plus is part of the Australian Government's Job Network, a national network of private and community organisations dedicated to helping people find and keep a job. Joblink Plus has been a Logo Rights Sponsor for the New England-North West Service since September 2004. Joblink Plus’s contribution is through an annual donation.
NBN Television commenced broadcasting to the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region on Sunday, 4 March 1962. It is now an independent affiliate of the Nine Network broadcasting from the Central Coast in the south to the Gold Coast, Queensland in the north and west to Moree and Narrabri. This market has a population of 1.9 million people, and is the fourth largest television market in Australia behind Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. NBN is committed to providing a high level of community support and local programming and has been a strong supporter since the mid 1980's. NBN became an official Logo Rights Sponsor in 1998.
The Newcastle Herald is the largest local media organisation and the only Newcastle-based newspaper serving the Hunter and Central Coast six days a week – Monday to Saturday. Newcastle Newspapers, publishers of The Newcastle Herald, The Post and the Port Stephens Examiner, is a major employer in the region with a full-time staff of more than 300 and, with the inclusion of casuals and suppliers, injects more than $20million into the Hunter's economy each year. The Newcastle Herald has a long affinity and readership involvement with the region's people and has been a supporter of the Service since 1975. The company became an official Logo Rights Sponsor in June 2004 and is committed to providing high-level awareness and publicity about the Service and its activities.
The Newcastle and Hunter Region Road Transport Awareness Group (NHRRTAG) has promoted the importance of the transport industry to all road users, future employees, regulators and the public through a range of activities for over 10 years. The annual Transport Awareness Day held in November each year at the Newcastle Foreshore has become a major fundraising event for the Service. The NHRRTAG, which represents more than 200 transport operators within the region, became a Logo Rights Sponsor in February 2006.
The NSW Minerals Council (NSWMC) is the peak mining industry association in NSW representing the State’s $9 billion mining industry. It provides a single, united voice for mineral producers, operators, explorers and extractive material producers operating and associated service providers. The NSWMC works closely with government, other industry groups and key stakeholders to foster a dynamic, efficient and sustainable mining industry in NSW. The primary focus of the NSWMC is on state issues but the organisation also works closely with the Minerals Council of Australia on national policy issues. A Logo Rights Sponsor since 1991 the NSWMC's annual contribution to the Service includes funds levied from its members in the Hunter Region.

Rotary International District 9650 includes 27 rotary clubs in the New England-North West region. The clubs combine their fundraising efforts to contribute cash and in-kind to the Service each year. The clubs also work together with the Service’s support groups at a variety of fundraising events and functions throughout the year. Rotary International District 9650 has been a Logo Rights Sponsor of the New England-North West Service since August 2000.
Super Network Radio is fully Australian owned and operated by Broadcast Operations Pty Ltd. The following radio stations in the New England-North West region contribute radio commercials to promote a variety of the Service's annual fundraising events and functions:
TESA Group was formed in 1999 in Tasmania. The privately owned Australian company has developed into one of the nation's most reputable suppliers of skilled labour to the manufacturing, construction, utility and mining sectors with offices located across Australia. TESA Group holds long-term contracts in the mining manufacturing and processing sector, utilities, telecommunications and infrastructure development, defence and shipbuilding, construction industry and the coal-mining sector. TESA Group became a Logo Rights Sponsor in 2005, assuming the sponsorship from United Mining Support Services (UMSS). TESA Group's donations and payroll deduction contributions support many of the Service’s programs.
United Mineworkers Federation of Australia (UMFA) is the mining division arm of the Construction, Forestry, Mining & Energy Unity (CFMEU) representing the blue-collar workers of the coal mining industry in Australia. The CFMEU came into existence in 1992 as an amalgamation of the United Mineworkers' Federation of Australia, the Building Workers Industrial Union, the Federated Engine Drivers and Firemens' Association, the Australian Timber and Allied Industries Union and other smaller unions. A Logo Rights Sponsor since 1991, the members of UMFA contribute to the Service through the Payroll Deduction Scheme. They have been a key contributor to the Service’s continued successful operation over many years.
