The first meeting of the Y group will be held at 10.00 am on Saturday 7 June at the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Broadmeadow Base (Bavin Road Broadmeadow). More information about Y group can be obtained from glen.kolpak@rescuehelicopter.com.au or 0437 887 047.

The Y Group is part of the Rescue Helicopter’s Volunteer Support Group network and includes young people aged between 14 and 18. The Group was established to help students understand the role of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

The Y Group encourages students to share ideas and carry out fundraising activities.

Importantly, students have the opportunity to work as part of a group, develop teamwork and leadership skills while helping to create new events for young people and support existing events for the Service.

The Y Group is fully supported by Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and works closely with experienced marketing staff. Participation of free and each member will be provided a uniform and cap.
